Sidhpur is a sacred town, around 103 km. North of Ahmedabad. It
is situated on the left bank of the river Saraswati, about 24 km upstream of
Anhilwada Patan, the ancient capital built in the first quarter of the
fifteenth century before Gujarat Ahmedabad. The town is a revered destination,
temples, kunds, practice and other sides of the sacred structure.
Raja
Siddhraj worship built on a magnificent temple of Lord Shiva called 'Rudra
Mahalaya in the 12th century. The temple is an architectural miracle and Three
storeyed Shikhar, 1600 pillars, door 12, the central Mandapa and porch East,
North, South, West shrine. Around the temple, there are 11 shrines of Gandhara.
East Gate and carved 'Toran', there are steps leading to the river Saraswati

Sidhpur
annual camel festival, from day 11 to day 15 which is in the bank is known as
Karthika Poornima (full moon) traditional fair held during the month of Kartik
(the first month of the Hindu calendar) Sabarmati River here. It is involved in
livestock from local residents and the surrounding towns and villages in the
tribal fair. The Kartikeya Temple during this exhibition opened a week. In
short, the fair has all the color and vitality of Gujarati.
The town
also boasts the importance of Bohra Muslims, an affluent Muslim community
