5 Things to Do In Gujarat



Gujarat is a famous place for not only the foreign tourist but also for the domestic tourist also. The Gujarat is an only state which is known as the "Jewel of Western India". Gujarat is famous for its cultural dance Grab or for the dishes like Khakhra, Fafda and so on, which available in various types.

Gujarat is a fun place or an amazing place which gives you lots of memory which remains in your mind for a long time. There are a lot of things and lots of sightseeing places in Gujarat. 1. Garba

First of all do the Garba, Gujarat's most famous and popular dance form which was done by Gujarati in a particular dress. This dance is only implementing two times in a single year for nine days meanwhile the Navaratri. You can't prevent yourself to do this dance. A dance with full of fun, spirituality, and culture of Gujarat. Navaratri is celebrated all over the world two times in a year.  Firstly in March/April and the second time is September/October. This nine-day cultural function is recommended to the Hindu goddess. Enjoyable places for Garba in Gujarat are Ahmedabad or Vadodara. Many Garba dance events are also arranged in Gujarat. Garba dance is an important section of Gujarat culture. You will search people dressed in cultural or traditional costumes, enjoying Garba meanwhile Navaratri. Started as a tradition in Gujarat, now it has become a trademark of Navaratri celebrations all over India.

2. Kite Flying



Besides Garba, the other famous Gujarati culture is flying kite. This function is also known as Uttarayan in Gujarat and other state but in India, this function is known or consider as Makar Sankranti. On 14th January all over the world celebrate this day as Makar Sankranti or as Uttrayan, and especially in Gujarat celebrate this International kite festival in Ahmedabad. Kite festival is starting from early in the morning. On this day, people or especially Gujarati people invite their friends and relative family members to celebrate this day. Peoples came on the rooftop for flying kite from 5 AM in the morning and this festival continues till late night. On this festival sky like a beautiful canvas because lots of people flying kite in different shape and different size and in the different color. In Gujarat, this festival is incomplete until you eat the especially food like surati, laddoos, undhyu and jamun etc. which is made on this day. Although the Kite Festival is limited to Ahmedabad only but Kite flying is a tradition which is celebrated throughout Gujarat. Uttarayana is another big event for the Gujarati culture and people to love.

3. Camel Ride in Kutch 

Finding memory to stay in the last breath? What about the camel ride beyond the Great Rann of Kutch, the salt desert? Kutch Gujarat has experienced salt moorland. It looks like a snow white after drying. Kutch is situated on the border of India and Pakistan. A camel ride through Kutch is especially under the moonlight in a lifetime experience, when everything shines like silver. The perfect time to visit Kutch is meanwhile the annual Rann Utsav, which is celebrated in December/January.  

4. Explore Beaches 

Gujarat has over 1600 km of coastline which has hidden some dazzling beaches. Most of the beaches in Gujarat is not famous among tourist that's why they turn into desert. But that does not mean that Gujarat is not having beaches. Some beautiful beaches in India are situated in Gujarat. Some beaches like Dwarka beaches and beaches in Kutch.

5. A Trip to Jurassic Park 




Gujarat is considered as Jurassic Park of India. Some major dinosaur excavated sites in India are located in Gujarat. The one who will excite you is a small village Balasinor in Gujarat. Balasinor is the only one place in the world who gives you a chance to touch the real egg of dinosaur. This facility is not available anywhere in the world. Currently, the basic infrastructure is being run in Balasinor so that it can be promoted as the tourist destination. Soon there will be Jurassic Park with many dinosaur lifestyle models in Balasinor. Optionally you can visit Indroda Dinosaur and Fossil Park in Gandhinagar, the only museum for Dinosaur in the India. Dinosaur fossils established on Balasinor and other parts of Gujarat are on display.
