Explore Daman’s Attraction With Gujarat Tours And Travels

Devka Beach: good place to relax, the beach there is a quiet atmosphere to attract tourists. At low tide, people can go straight into the sea and collect shells and a variety of precious stones. Visitors can beat the summer heat by taking a swim in the cold water in the ocean, but precautions should be taken, on the water below the rock formations.
Church Of Bom Jesus: Founded in 1559 and dedicated in 1603, the Church of Jesus is brilliant engineering Portuguese. The carved gateway skilled specimens, ornate interiors and artistic wooden altar of the shrine has withstood the test of time. Ornate carved doors to the south, with elevated walls and high ceilings; it is decorated with six beautiful carved saint statues. Echoes the traditional spirit of Roman art and architecture, and dedication to the church of Bom Jesus attracts tourists and pilgrims, in large numbers.
Fort Of Saint Jerome: Located north of Damanganga River, the fort was built to keep watch at sea activities. The main attraction of this fortress is ouocean, the ancient Church of Our Lady of the seat with a fine altar. The Portuguese war cemetery office is another attraction. Thick walls of the architecture have stood for nearly four centuries; it is a sight to behold.
